The Pretender by Foo Fighters piano sheets for free

"The Pretender" by Foo Fighters was written by the members of the band and produced by Gil Norton.

It's a hard rock, post-grunge song from the band's sixth studio album titled "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace".

The song was released on the 21st of August 2007 and it was recorded during the March - June period, the same year. "The Pretender" was released under the umbrella of Roswell and RCA Records.

It's important to note that this song is one of Foo Fighters' most successful songs.

It reached the 37th place on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. This performance was bested only by "Learn to Fly" and "Best of You" on this chart.

In an 2007 interview with XMF, Dave Grohl explained the meaning of the song "The Pretender". He stated that

"That's the thing with lyrics, you never want to give away specifics, because it's nice for people to have their own idea or interpretation of the song. But, you know, everyone's been fucked over before and I think a lot of people feel fucked over right now and they're not getting what they were promised, and so something to do with that."

Muse's "Madness".

The Foo Fighters' song held that place for 18 weeks straight.
