Childhood by Michael Jackson piano sheets for free
This touching song is an auto-biographical unique work of art, by Michael Jackson. "Childhood" is one of the calmest and touching songs ever written by Michael.
Although is a very sad song and really depressing for some teenagers or grown-ups, it had an enormous success over the years. Got out in 1995, and became worldwide hit.
My favorite lyrics, that I find very meaningful are
"Before you judge me, try hard to love me
Look within your heart and ask
Have you seen my childhood?"
, that send us a very strong message, trying to describe someone in pain, with not such a happy childhood, that really affected him through the years.
Unfortunately, the person that Michael sings about in this unique song is really himself. He is just crying about the sad situation in his life, not really having a childhood, because of his father and because of the hard work that he has been doing from at least 5 years old.
So...have you seen his childhood? And please, judge just after that... This is also a general message, that I find very important in life, just try to love someone before you start judging, or try to really know the person standing besides you, know his ups and downs, his happiness and also his sadness, and just after you have done that, make your own opinion.
Unfortunately, this song doesn't bring Michael good memories and neither does to us. It reminds us about the first time that Michael spoke openly about his abusive childhood, in 1993, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Although the description of the relationship between Michael and his father had been reported for years, until that day he never spoke about it. And even if he said some awful things about what he has been through, at the end, Michael's words were "'m sorry...Please don't be mad at me...But I do love him".
So no matter what you go through in your life, remember that love is the most important feeling that you have to show. If a child with Michael's problems succeeded this way, I am sure is an achievable way to life your life through love.
