About Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande is the stage name of a pop / R&B singer and songwriter from the United States.

She has also started a career in acting.

Even if she was born in California, her name has Italian influences and, as she herself said, she is half Abruzzese and half Sicilian.

As a child, she began by acting at the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theater and began performing in musicals such as "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Wizard of Oz".

After continuing to star on Nickelodeon even after Victorious was canceled, she worked with a British singer called Mika on the single "Popular Song". Her acting career continued as well, with "A Snow White Christmas", where she played the role of Snow White.

Her first album was titled "Yours Truly" and got released in the summer of 2013.

The album became a great hit, selling well over 100.000 copies from the start. "Yours Truly" also managed to hit the top of the Billboard 200 and was received greatly internationally as well, with several top ten charting ranks.
