Richard Noel Marx, better known simply as Richard Marx, was born on the 16th of September 1963.

He is a songwriter, singer, record producer and musician from America. Richard Marx's favorite musical genres include pop, rock and adult contemporary.

His gold period was between the 80s and 90s, when he had a stream of hit singles, from which we would like to mention "Endless Summer Nights", "Right Here Waiting", "Now and Forever", and "Hazard".

Marx's most successful songs were ballads. But many of them had powerful classic rock influences. Such songs were the renowned "Don't Mean Nothing", "Should've Known Better", "Satisfied", and "Too Late To Say Goodbye".

Richard Marx's record consists of his first seven singles peaking the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. He was the first ever solo artist to accomplish such a performance.

He sold during his career, a staggering over 30 million albums worldwide. He also written and produced top hits for other artists and bands such as NSYNC's "This I Promise You" hit or Luther Vandross's "Dance With My Father". "Dance With My Father" won multiple Grammy Awards.
