About Foster the People

Foster the People is a band from Los Angeles, California, founded in 2009.

The band received a record deal in 2010 from Startime International, after their song "Pumped Up Kicks" got very popular and they got many fans.

Bad news came for the fans in September 2015, when Foster the People announced that Cubbie Fink is about to leave the band. The band is now including Mark Foster as vocalist and Mark Pontius as drummer.

Despite of losing one member, the band continued their work and on December 8th 2015 they released "The Unforeseeable Fate of Mr. Jones" as a new song.

The band’s latest performance in 2016 was on October 9th, when they played at the Rocking The Daises Music Festival. It was an amazing show for their fans, where they sung "Doing It For The Money", "Lotus Eater, and "Pay the Man". All three songs are from the band’s unreleased album.
