"Let It Go" is the title of a Disney song featured on the animation movie "Frozen" from 2013.
The lyrics and the music were written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and released on the 25th of November, 2013. The piano and vocals parts were recorded during 2012 and the Rhythm section and the orchestra part were created during 2013. It was published by Wonderland Music Company and included on the "Frozen" album.
Originally and initially, the song was shown as performed by actress Idina Menzel, who starred in "Frozen" as the role of Queen Elsa.

The Boston Globe praised the addictiveness of the song, which got very popular among teens.
"Let It Go" from "Frozen" also managed to win several other awards, such as a Critic’s Choice Awards for Best Song, a Phoenix Film Critics Society award for Best Original Song and a Denver Film Critics Society award for Best Original Song. At the Radio Disney Music Awards, it also won the Favorite Song from a Movie or TV Show award.
