To Where You Are by Josh Groban piano sheets for free

"To Where You Are" is one of Josh Groban's first songs.

It was written by another great singer, Richard Marx, along Linda Thompson and Alan Menken.

The 3:53 minutes song was released through Warner Records. Also, the person to produce it was Richard Marx.

The adult contemporary song was recorded in 2001 and released one year later, in 2002.

"To Where You Are" is part of the singer's debut album, "Josh Groban". The single peaked at number 116, "bubbling under" the Billboard Hot 100 but it reached number one on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks, where it stayed for two weeks after entering it on April, the same year.

It stayed present on Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks for a big amount of 36 weeks. It also reached the UK Singles Chart, at number 94.

One year before "To Where You Are" was released, Groban appeared on the television series, Ally McBeal, for two episodes. The second episode, "Nine One One", features an atheist character, played by Groban, who eventually performs "To Where You Are" at a church service. Previously, in the first episode in which he appeared, he performed another song, "You're Still You". As the audience enjoyed his initial performance, they requested the producers for another appearance.

The song was also included in another two albums, besides "Josh Groban": "Live At The Greek" and "Josh Groban In Concert". Also, he included it on the greatest hits album "A Collection", which was released in 2008.

"To Where You Are" was covered by Kristy Starling for a debut album, and her version was also produced by Richard Marx. Another cover was made by Chloe Agnew, a member of "Celtic Woman", along David Downes, for the album "Walking In The Air".

The song has been highly performed by various contestants at talent shows, such as America's Got Talent, Canadian Idol, Britain's Got Talent, American Idol, Pinoy Pop Star, Showtime and others.

In 2009, the song was recorded by Jackie Evancho, a nine-years-old, as part of the album "Prelude To A Dream".

Also, Joe McElderry covered it in 2011, as part of his album, "Classic". The most recent cover was made by Mark Evans, in 2011, who performed it in Welsh, naming it "Tu hwnt i'r ser".

Richard Marx covered the song himself, in 2010, on the acoustic album "Stories To Tell".
