As the audience enjoyed his initial performance, they requested the producers for another appearance.

"To Where You Are" was covered by Kristy Starling for a debut album, and her version was also produced by Richard Marx. Another cover was made by Chloe Agnew, a member of "Celtic Woman", along David Downes, for the album "Walking In The Air".
The song has been highly performed by various contestants at talent shows, such as America's Got Talent, Canadian Idol, Britain's Got Talent, American Idol, Pinoy Pop Star, Showtime and others.
In 2009, the song was recorded by Jackie Evancho, a nine-years-old, as part of the album "Prelude To A Dream".
Also, Joe McElderry covered it in 2011, as part of his album, "Classic". The most recent cover was made by Mark Evans, in 2011, who performed it in Welsh, naming it "Tu hwnt i'r ser".
Richard Marx covered the song himself, in 2010, on the acoustic album "Stories To Tell".
