Free piano sheet music from Kodaline
Kodaline is an Irish rock band based in Dublin that was initially known as "21 Demands" during 2005 and 2011, making chart history in March 2007 with their debut single "Give Me A Minute" that ranked first on the Irish Singles Chart, being the first independent track to do that.
With members Steve Garrigan and Mark Prendergast growing up together in Swords, Dublin, they took part in many battle of the bands events and years later, Vinny May joined them. However, the last member joined in January 2012 to make the band whole, bass player Jason Boland joining Kodaline. As a quartet composed of vocalist Steve Garrigan, guitarist Mark Prendergast, drummer Vinny May and bass guitarist Jason Boland, they released a debut EP titled "The Kodaline EP" on Friday 7 September 2012, with "All I Want" being featured as BBC Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton’s "Record of the Week", used in the episode "Remember the Time" for Grey’s Anatomy.
Also getting used as Google’s "2012: Year in Review" video, the song "All I Want" led to Kodaline getting nominated for the Sound of 2013 poll, as announced by BBC. Piano sheets for Kodaline should be available soon enough on PianoForge.
Their 2013 album "In a Perfect World" has 11 songs, including singles such as "High Hopes", "Love Like This", "All I Want", "Pray", with seven new songs: "Brand New Day", "One Day", "After the Fall", "All Comes Down", "Big Bad World", "Way Back Then", "Talk", with the iTunes deluxe edition also containing "The Answer", "Perfect World", "Latch" and "Lose Your Mind" and music videos for "High Hopes" and "All I Want". The CD deluxe-edition contains live performances of "All I Want", "Love Like This", "Pray", "High Hopes", "All Comes Down" and "The Answer" at The Button Factory.
"All I Want" got featured on MTV’s Catfish and also used in a Season 5 episode of "The Vampire Diaries" and also in season 9 of Grey’s Anatomy. In April 2014, Kodaline covered Paul McCartney’s 1980 single "Coming Up", in order to celebrate Record Store Day. "All I Want" also got released as included in the soundtrack for "The Fault in Our Stars", getting also used in the film. In July 2014, "Pray" and "High Hopes" got used in trailers for upcoming movies "Horns" and "Love, Rosie". The One Day EP was released in 2014.
