About Aaron Neville

Aaron Neville is an American born soul singer, with R&B, Pop and Country influences.

One of his first singles and the first one to get attention outside of New Orleans, where he was born and raised, was called "Over You", back in 1960.

But the first song that really got his career started came in 1967, a single called "Tell It Like It Is", remaining on the top of the R&B charts for five weeks, also reaching second on Hot 100, selling over one million copies worldwide and getting a gold disc award.

In 1989, Linda Ronstadt, a rock and jazz female singer, collaborated with Aaron for an album called "Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind", two of their duets getting Grammy awards: "Don’t Know Much" and "All My Life", the first one getting Gold for selling over one million copies, the album also got Triple Platinum in the United States, selling more than 3 million copies.

Such a great artist couldn’t stay away from our website for much time, we are now proud to engage in the discovery and listing of more and more sheets for this amazing soul singer.

Other hits from him that furthered his success are as it follows: "Everybody Plays the Fool", a cover for a 1972 song, reaching eight on Top 100, "Hercules", "Don’t Take Away My Heaven", "Can’t Stop My Heart From Loving You", "All My Life", "Don’t Know Much".

Neville has signed in 2005 with Sony BMG’s Burgundy Records and recorded an album of songs by other soul artists, entitled "Bring It on Home...The Soul Classics".

Even if his songs feature lots of piano instrumentals and therefore the sheet music that we will present, his voice is strong and got him work in media like television, sport events or movies.

Singing the National Anthem in "The Fan", that featured Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes and singing the anthem for wrestling events in 1993 and 1994, his work got him to even write the theme music for a children TV series or reworking a song for the 1992 Summer Olympics.

A compilation album called "Oh Happy Day" got put together in the 2009 period, when he also released a version of the song "A Change Is Gonna Come", alongside the Mt. Zion Mass Choir.
