"Big Time Sensuality" is a track from the singer Bjork.
It was part of her first album, named "Debut", and it stood as the fourth single to be released from it. It features many musical genres such as alternative rock, house, alternative dance and electronica. The song was written by Bjork along Nellee Hooper and produced by the latter.
It was released on November 22nd, 1993 on many formats: cassette, CD, 12". It was part of the label "One Little Indian".
Following her departure from the band The Sugarcubes, the singer also engaged on a departure from her previous musical style. As one of the latest tracks of the album, it was meant to be the first single to be released. However, it was delayed due to the release of "Human Behavior" and "Play Dead".
"Big Time Sensuality" had two versions: the short one, of 3:56 minutes and the video version, of 4:54 minutes. It was also successfully remixed by Fluke and performed by Bjork on many occasions.

The Icelandic singer performed "Big Time Sensuality" on many important occasions, including "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno", "Top Of The Pops", "Smash Hits Poll Winners Party", MTV Unplugged, at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, throughout her "Debut Tour" and also "Post Tour".
"Big Time Sensuality" topped the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play, it reached number five on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks, number 88 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 17 on the UK Singles Chart.
